Blog Assignment #52 Part 1

The former Alaskan governor, Sarah Palin, visited Haiti on December 12. She was accomponied by her daughter and her husband. The trip was hosted by Franklin Grahm. She also visited some cholorea treatment centers. Palin says that the conditions in Haiti were much harsher than she expected.

Many people are expressing their oppinion that Sarah Palin on stayed in Haiti for less than 48 hours. They think that she should have spent more time there. I think that Sarah Palin did a good thing. She reached out and helped the people of Haiti when they are in a time of need. It should not matter how long she stayed there.

In conclusion, Sarah Palin opened her heart and showed compassion to the people of Haiti. We should be willing to help others. We should be willing to sacrifice what we are doing to lend a helping hand.
