There is no place like home.I love the wizard of Oz.I also like Dorthy's red slippers.These shoes remind me of Dorthy and her ruby red slippers.

look like an average plant.I think they are more fascinating

First we have the Mac.Mac is an apple product and who doesn't love an Apple product. The prices range from $999 -$1119.These preices can be lower or higer . They come with a built in virus blocker,built in Wi-Fi,and it enables you to make movies and music. You can purchase  a Mac  laptop or computer. They have forty nine watts of stereo and a LED screen. It  allows you to pinch, turn, and rotate the screen.Next there is the PC. PC prices can range from $400- $1200 These prices also can be less or more .It doesn't allow you to pinch,turn and rotate the screen but it is custimable,  hardware and software compatable, and is highly effective for getting the job done. They have one touch activation keys and weighs only 4.4 pounds.So which computer wins this round? Well that is up to you to decide.

Classmate Interview:Ashley

Ashley Norwood is a very awesome person. She was born  and grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She has two brothers and one sister. .At four years old she attended Mary Lee School and she started Bethany in third grade.Her favorite subject is P.E. Just like a regualr kid her favorite time of school is dissmisal.She likes the color blue and her favorite animals are a zebra and a dog.Ashley does not have a favorite food and enjoys going to the restauraunt Red Lobster. Her hobbies include cheerleading and dance.Her favorite sports are cheerleading and basketball.Her favorite candy is starburst and chocolate.When Ashley grows up she plans to become an O.P.T.Y.N. which is a doctor that delivers babies.When asked if she ever wanted to get married and have children,Ashley reponded,I would like to get married, but I do NOT want any children. If she could go anywhere in the world she someday,she would like to go to Hawii.Ashley plans on being sucessful in all that she does.

What is a hero? Someone who has courage and is brave. Heroes can be all diffrent types of people. You don't have to have superpowers to be a hero in fact theres one person who is a big hero in the state of Ohio. His name is Keith McVey a current mailman in Ackron ,Ohio. McVey is fifty three years old and has saved three lives on his job.He performed CPR on and unconscious man lying on the side of the road and he also rescued a drowning girl from a nearby lake. In my eyes McVey is what one would call a true superhero.

Have you ever thought about how cool it would be to have a flying car? Well now there is one. The Terrafugia hybrid was ok'd by the FAA. This car will be able to fly at a speed of 115 mph and can also drive on the roads. The plane cannot fly higher than 10,000 feet in the air because that space is for the commercial planes but not to worry there is still plenty of sky left. This car will be about $200,000. It will be available in the year 2011. So who knows maybe one day I will actually get to test drive one!!!

            My mom's name is Brenda and my dad's name is Keith. I have two sisters. I am the youngest of the three. I have three nieces. I also have one nephew.
            My favorite color is Blue. My favorite food is lasagna. I love to read and write. I was a cheerleader for two years at Bethany. My favorite animal is a dolphin.
             When I grow up I would like to be a Pediatrician. I always wanted to be a doctor.I would also like to travel the world. I love to travel and I hope to visit many places and countries in the future. I would also like to witness to as many people as I can.
             I thank God for my like every day. Decide what type of interview you'd like to do. The most common are face-to-face and phone interviews. Face to face gives you an opportunity to look at the person and see the look on their face when they're telling their stories. A phone interview gives the person a little more anonymity and might provide an easier outlet for someone to open up.

Set up a time or place to meet with your subject. If you are meeting face to face, meet in a place that is comfortable to the subject.

Bring a recorder and a notebook and pen. Turn the recorder on during the interview, but write down in the notebook key things that were said. You can also write down the time certain things were said by watching the timer on your recorder.

Start a conversation, not an interview. Have a conversation with your subject because you want them to be comfortable with what they're talking about. The more comfortable your subject is, the better the interview will be.

Listen. Let your subject talk. Don't be so quick to interject with more questions. Wait for a definitive pause before asking your next question.

Let the conversation steer your line of questioning. It's good to go into the interview with an idea of what you want to ask, but don't be afraid to ask your questions in response to what your subject has said.

Let the interview go as long as it needs to. Don't limit your time or your subject's chance to tell his story. This will ensure the most complete interview possible. After he is finished, thank them for their time.
